Blood Tests

We offer a Phlebotomy service at the practice between 8 am and 12 noon Monday, Wednesday, Friday each week. This service is by appointment only and please only book an appointmnet if you have been asked to do so by a clinician. If you have been asked to have a blood test by secondary care we can usually do this for you at the surgery if you bring your blood form with you.

 The simplest way to book a blood test is online. You can also book via reception or the telephone.

If you are on certain conditions such as diabetes or heart disease you will need annual blood tests to monitor your condition. We run a system where we ask that you book for such annual blood tests in your birthday month, you will not be recalled for this but you can simply book your blood test.

Shropshire Community trust run a domicilary phlebotomy service for those whose health means they are unable to get to the surgery. This is a limited service but please phone them to arrange an appointment (01746 740001).
